To say the least…art is my life! Aesthetically inclined from a very young age, art has been my passion as well as my expression; art has been my vocation as well as my liberation; art has been my solace as well as my religion!
As I have gone through the various stages of life, absorbing everything it has thrown at me, art, in its various forms, has been my constant companion. When I had to demonstrate my flair as a child, I took to painting and sketching. When I had to pick subjects for a degree in college, visual arts were a natural choice. When I had to rake in the moolah to run a family, photography became my lifeline and finally when I had to keep my sanity intact through the years – music, came to the rescue!
Today, I can safely describe my life and work as an abstract – “An existence with a degree of independence from established visual norms and representations in the world!”
